Role Overview: As a SailPoint IIQ Engineer/Developer with Java development skills, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions to meet our clients' IAM needs. Your expertise in Java programming will be crucial in customizing and extending the capabilities of the SailPoint IIQ platform to enhance its functionality and integrate with other applications within the IAM ecosystem.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SailPoint IIQ solutions.
- Develop, customize, and deploy SailPoint IIQ configurations and workflows to meet clients' unique identity management needs.
- Integrate SailPoint IIQ with various target systems, applications, and databases using Java programming and APIs.
- Design and implement automated provisioning and deprovisioning processes to ensure efficient user lifecycle management.
- Enhance and maintain the existing SailPoint IIQ implementations to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SailPoint IIQ configuration, data discrepancies, and system integrations.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in IAM to ensure our solutions align with the latest security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IAM architects, security analysts, and operations teams, to deliver comprehensive IAM solutions.
- Perform code reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer to other team members to promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and contribute to their professional growth.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a SailPoint IIQ Engineer/Developer, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SailPoint IIQ implementation and customization.
- Strong Java programming skills with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, protocols, and best practices.
- Familiarity with identity governance, access management, and user provisioning principles.
- Experience in integrating SailPoint IIQ with various target systems, databases, and applications using Java APIs.
- Solid understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) and entitlement management.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and strong attention to detail.
- SailPoint IIQ certification(s) will be a plus.
- Experience with other IAM technologies like Okta, CyberArk, ForgeRock, etc.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud identity management solutions (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM).
